Stained Glass Candy Canes

A bunch of Small Candy Canes being were passed out at school today in one of my classes and I wanted to do this cute Candy Cane heart idea...but my kitchen experimenting led me to this creation of Stained Glass Candy Canes that you can use to make your favorite Hot Chocolate look absolutely mouth watering this holiday season or just whenever!

I started out with 2 Candy Canes and arranged them into a heart shape [thinking that they would stay in that heart shape...but I guess my oven is crazy or something because I did follow the directions... but I guess you could put them in any kind of shape you wanted to try!] on a piece of foil sprayed with a bit of Pam. If you have wax paper you could use that too...I just didn't have any!
I then put them in the oven on a baking sheet for 5 mins @ 300 degrees!

I opened the oven up at 4 mins and 30 seconds...and saw a nice lovely Candy Cane blob in the oven!!! At first I was a bit dissappointed but when I took it out it actually looked pretty unique...almost like stained glass!
I then decided to sever a large marshmallow half way and then slip the melted Candy Cane sheet into the crevice....so it was the like stained glass was the mask to a marshmallow sailboat! & then I plopped it into a mug of one of my favorite Hot Chocolate recipe!!

Cinnamon, Vanilla & Peppermint Hot Chocolate

You will need:
1 mug full of Hot Milk
1 pack of Hot Chocolate mix
1-2 Tablespoons Cinnamon Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Marshmallows & Stained Glass Candy Canes to top it off

Directions: Mix first 4 ingredients together and top with
Marshmallows & Stained Glass Candy Canes!!

In less than 10 mins time you can have the Hot Chocolate of your dreams!! This would be so fun served at Christmas parties don't you think?!! Enjoy
