1000 words

I found this picture [worth 1000 words] today when I was looking at pics from our vacation to Virginia this summer and I seriously could not think of a better picture to capture my sibling's unique and wonderful personalities! haha. I love them so much. They fill my life with so much love and motivation and are constantly making me smile and laugh at the silly things they do!! This picture was taken as we were fleeing from the pouring rain on the 4th of July at Yorktown. We were so bummed it rained cuz the awesome fireworks they had planned were cancelled! We were dripping wet and it was actually just really funny in the end...There was nothing we could do, the rain just kept coming! haha my fam is just the best!!!! I am so blessed and thankful to have them all in my life & can't wait to see them this weekend. YAY for Thanksgiving break!!

...I am just beginning to realize how many wonderful things I am blessed with each day of my life. It is amazing when you take the time to look for those little miracles in your life you begin to see how many there really are.

"Be thankful for what you have, you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough." [Oprah Winfrey]

So don't just wait till Thanksgiving to be thankful. Start thinking and feeling NOW of what you are grateful for. Be less critical of those around you. Be less critical of the obstacles in your way. Be thankful for the twists and turns set before you. Be grateful for each day, for each moment and for every breath God gives you. [Try holding your breath for a minute...then you will really be grateful for such a simple yet overwhelming blessing God gives to us and to those we love.] Be thankful for each day for each moment and each person that comes into your life. This life is so complicated but really so simple. If we just take time to count the miracles around us they will begin to multiply and make more smiles to be shared! The Lord's hand is constantly in our life if we will just take the time to see it.

This time in the world is such a marvelous time. Despite the troubles and turmoil around us we can feel peace and love from our Savior who suffered all. We can feel calm because the Lord has his hand in all things. I am so grateful for that knowledge and for a loving Savior who forever loves us, who is rooting for us, and always watching out for us.

"Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns; I am thankful that thorns have roses." [Anonymous]

So....BE THANKFUL today and everyday!
