Date Night

So last night we went to a dinner party that Scott's work was having and all the interns introduced their wives and/or girlfriends....they had to tell how they met, what they are studying, where they are originally from...etc. Well when it gets to my husband's turn this is what he says...

"This is my wife Brittany. She is from South Dakota and I am from North Dakota....we met on the border..."

...and you know what, everyone believed him. haha. Maybe you had to be there but I was dying...dying laughing that is! Shorty there after he recounted his words and told them all the truth...but they were still way confused and I was just on the edge of my seat as to what he was going to say next! I think that is going to be our new story from now on for how we met.

He also mentioned that he was wearing 2 different socks and that I was not wearing any, that I am a mass blogger, enjoy piano playing and going to the beach. haha!

They also made him sing "I'm a Little Tea Pot" in country, rap and opera versions for a game we played....it was pretty embarrassing...I mean entertaining ;]

After the partayy we went to see the movie AVATAR! We even dressed up in all BLUE for the occasion. We were mesmerized through out the whole movie. So much creativity. Definitely a must see!

Now I am at the legendary McKay Library working my Saturday shift while Scott is playing a smashing game of raquet ball with Tan Man.

Hope you all are having a lovely weekend thus far!

LOL Scott is a hoot! Your date sounds like so much fun. What game did you guys play? And wasn't Avatar the best movie yet?! I loved it!

We played the cat & mouse tie game where one tie, the cat, has to chase the other tie, the mouse, around the circle as people are madly tying the ties on and off...the losers had to get up and dance/sing! haha.
