Across from the beautiful Rexburg temple!
My bro. Blake nicknamed me the "topless graduate" haha....but quickly changed that statement to "capless graduate." That is because my cap would NOT stay on. I was fidgeting with it every 5 minutes! It fell off in the middle of me walking to get my diploma. It even fell off right in front of Press. Clark when I was walking into the Hart Building....the only few words we have ever shared went something like this (not exactly like this....I can't remember what he said exactly because I surprised he was saying something to ME at all, I only know that what he said was in regards to my cap and I felt like, wow this is not my proudest moment, but it was kind of funny):
Pres. Clark, with a huge smile - "Ut oh, having a hard time with your cap?"
Me - "Haha, yeah this thing won't stay on!"
Wow, so graduate like.
Anyways....it was a day to remember!
I can't believe I am a college grad! Taking those 19 credits each semester for the last year has definitely paid off! It feels so so good to be done...kind of a bittersweet feeling but still wonderful! I am so grateful for my education! It will really be a benefit to every part of my life! I couldn't have done it without the help of my loving husband and great family! Love you guys! Now off to great adventures in Brea, CA! Woohoo!
