Warning: Highly Addictive

Carmel Layered Rice
Crispy Treats!!!!!!

We tried these at a BBQ yesterday and there's no turning back now.
The ones we demolished were made with
realllll homemade Carmel....
so hopefully this recipe is just as GOOD!
I'm thinking it will be! YUMMMM

You will need:

2 {10 oz.} bags marshmallows
18 tbsp. {little more than 2 sticks} butter
9 c. Rice Krispies
1 sm. bag CARMELS {unwrapped of course}
1 can Eagle Brand milk

Directions: Melt over low heat; one bag of marshmallows {or if you are daring try this homemade fluffy marshmallows recipe!} and 4 tablespoons butter. Stir in 4 1/2 cups of Rice Krispies; press into a 9"x13" buttered cake pan. Melt carmels, 10 tablespoon butter and Eagle Brand milk together and spread over Rice Krispies mixture and refrigerate about 1/2 hour. {or for softer/smoother carmel don't refrigerate as long.} Then repeat Rice Krispies recipe from above and put on top of caramel mixture.

...& for all you chocolate lovers out there, try topping it off with a
Chocolate Ganache

You will need:
2 tbsp whipping cream
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup {2 ounces} semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions: Heat whipping cream and butter in small saucepan over medium heat until butter melts and mixture boils, stirring frequently with wooden spoon. Remove saucepan from heat. Stir in chocolate and vanilla until mixture is smooth, returning to heat for 20 to 30 second intervals as needed to melt chocolate. Keep warm
{ganache is semi-firm at room temperature}
Pour over caramel-layered krispie treats, let cool & Devour!
