A Pie Story

Now let me tell you....I have been wanting to make this recipe for a while now {Her pictures of food are always wayyy better than mine fyi} and decided to bake it today since I actually have time to cook legit meals on Sundays! Pies are really fun to put together. You feel so domestic. haha. I felt like Snow White when she is in the dwarf's cottage baking a berry pie and then the witch springs out of nowhere and tries to sell her apples! haha..You know which scene I am talking about? Well it was total deja vu when I was trimming the extra pie dough off the top layer...I'm just surprised a bird didn't fly in and try and give me a hand {or I mean foot/claw?!} I could have really used some help from a few little critters today! Anyways...enough words. Here's the evolution of Tomato and Corn Pie. {Note: I added potatoes and bacon to the recipe and I am so glad I did! & the crust was fabulous even though it burnt a little on the edges! Don't judge.}

First, rolllll it out. Make sure to put enough flour! & tuck it in!
Add the fixings...

And some more fixings...

A little pizazz

& bake it in the oven for a half hour
Voila! A cute, yummy, tasty,creamy, vegetable pie.

Be fair in cutting slices for those around you...

And then stuff yourselves with deliciousness! Yayyy!
