Butter Mints


I never actually knew you could make butter mints...you know the little pillow-like pieces of sugar that taste of sheer minty goodness. They remind me of restaurants and hotels I have been to...because they always have them out. Well I came across this easy peesy recipe & now I can make my own!

Butter Mints

• 1/4 cup of butter (softened)
• 1 one lb box of powdered sugar
• 3 oz. cream cheese
• 1 tsp mint extract
• Liquid food coloring (optional)

Mix all ingredients together. Add food coloring if desired. Then, roll dough out into thin snakes and cut into pieces with butter knife. Set on wax paper to dry out for about 24 hours. ENJOY!
